Psychotherapeutic Counselling
When things feel tangled or heavy, therapy can offer a space to breathe. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, low, or simply want to understand yourself better, we’ll work together in a way that fits you. Some sessions might focus on practical tools. Others might feel more like a gentle untangling of what’s been carried for too long.
You don’t need to have the right words. We’ll explore things at your pace, in a way that feels manageable and supportive.
Student Counselling
Student life can be overwhelming, but support is available when you need it. Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, or the pressure of deadlines, counselling provides a space to talk things through without judgment or expectations.
It's a safe space for you to explore what’s going on at your own pace, build coping strategies, and find ways to manage challenges in a way that works for you.

Neurodivergent Counselling
Whether you’ve been formally diagnosed or self-identified as Autistic or ADHD, it can take time to process what this means for you. Counselling provides the opportunity to make sense of your past through a new lens.
Everyone’s journey is different. Some feel relief in finally having answers, while others experience frustration, grief, or a sense of missed support. This process is deeply personal, and therapy honours that, giving you the space to explore your thoughts and emotions without pressure. Through this work, you can develop self-compassion and uncover your strengths that help you shape life on your terms.
Therapy With Jennifer McKean
My approach is personalised because I know everyone’s story is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all in healing. Your individuality isn't just welcome here, it's central.
As a pluralistic therapist, I shape our work to suit you. That might include trauma-informed support, evidence-based tools like CBT, or simply space to reflect with someone empathetic and culturally aware.
With flexible options including online sessions, therapy can fit into your life in a way that feels manageable. Wherever you’re starting from, this is a space to feel supported and begin moving forward.
During your initial assessment session, we will discuss the best therapeutic methods to suit your needs. Together we can develop a holistic treatment plan that's shaped to your life experiences and goals. No two treatment plans are the same. Your way forward is unique to you.
